A number of marriages in the middle 1850s were recorded in the Civil Registration of Marriages for the Registrar's District of Manorhamilton as having been performed in the Parish of Glenlough. No such name appears in any of the published list or maps of parishes in County Leitrim. All of the townlands given as residence of the principals seem to have been within the boundaries of the Civil Parish of Killasnet.

Researcher Jack Reidy has information from the Minister of the Church of Ireland in the town of Manorhamilton that the church of Glenlough formerly stood behind the present Church of Ireland in Manorhamilton.

Leitrim, Ireland.⁽¹⁴⁾ Lot number 34-a was said to be occupied by "Robert Allingham (Black)" [sic] and his share of the total was valued at 10 pounds 5 s; lot 34-b was occupied by Christiana Sibberry and her share of the total was valued at 3 pounds 5 s. It is not known if the designation "Robert Allingham (Black)" was intended to indicate a different person from the occupier of lots 12 and 13 in the same townland.
